Gastronomy in the Riviera Maya

The Riviera Maya offers exquisite culinary options for all tastes, as it combines the Mayan, Mexican and Spanish heritages with cosmopolitan gastronomy from all over the World. There are French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish restaurants… you name it!

As for Riviera Maya’s gastronomy, much of the area’s cuisine is seafood based, and is usually enriched with spices, sweet chili, seeds, oregano, achiote, red onion, lime and bitter orange.
